This book is about Alex and Auzed who have been forced to pretend that they are an engaged couple to save Alex from an arranged marriage。 These two couldn't be more different than each other and both soon find that they are attracted to one another， something they each resent。 Alex and Auzed have valid reasons for not being able to be together but can't help wanting to be with each other。I like the opposites attract trope and found myself very entertained by the couple in this book， especially m This book is about Alex and Auzed who have been forced to pretend that they are an engaged couple to save Alex from an arranged marriage。 These two couldn't be more different than each other and both soon find that they are attracted to one another， something they each resent。 Alex and Auzed have valid reasons for not being able to be together but can't help wanting to be with each other。I like the opposites attract trope and found myself very entertained by the couple in this book， especially moments from Alejandra or Alex who doesn't take herself too seriously and loves referencing movie quotes （I liked trying to guess what movie the quotes came from before the author revealed them）。 I didn't like Auzed as much and found him too narrow minded at first but he started to grow on me， he started to loosen up thanks to Alex's sense of humor and her teasing。 I gave the book 4 stars however because the conflict between the two lovers started to get too much at times。 I love the series and the world building is great， I like how the author continues to introduce the reader to new cities and cultures。 Tempting Auzed is another excellent addition to the series and I'm really looking forward to the next book。 。。。more

5 stars ⭐️。 Victoria has done it again。 Just when I think the next book can’t possibly top the last she goes and writes another one that I can’t put down。 Tempting Auzed is: hilarious， packed full of adventure， intricate world building and of course a whole lot of steamy scenes。 I found myself 15 percent in and I had already laughed， sighed， clutched my pearls， blinked， fell hard and fast and did not put this book down from the minute I picked it up until I finished it。 The newest book， Tempting 5 stars ⭐️。 Victoria has done it again。 Just when I think the next book can’t possibly top the last she goes and writes another one that I can’t put down。 Tempting Auzed is: hilarious， packed full of adventure， intricate world building and of course a whole lot of steamy scenes。 I found myself 15 percent in and I had already laughed， sighed， clutched my pearls， blinked， fell hard and fast and did not put this book down from the minute I picked it up until I finished it。 The newest book， Tempting Auzed， follows our Heroine Alex （friend of Lily's） who we got to meet in the previous book and Auzed， Theo's older brother and the head guard at the Pearl Temple， whom we also got to meet in book two。 These two characters are the epitome of opposites in every sense of the word。 Auzed is a straight-laced， stickler for the rules and often presented a little surly。 Alex on the other hand is all impulsivity - the dive now and think about the consequences later type- which leads to a little head butting and a whole lot of fun challenges for the pair。 This book is set in a new city， full of rich world building， and plenty of new characters to fall in love with， including a furry little creature called a tuey （SO cute！）。 Auzed and Alex are caught over in Sauven territory and end up being brought back to the city， were the society of tailed individuals live high off the ground。 In order for the pair to make it back to Tremanta， they have to convince the Sauvenians that they are happily married， which turns out to be no easy feat。 This book was probably my favourite out of the series for its world building。 It was written in a way that felt so incredibly vivid that I had no trouble picturing the city， the people and the wildlife。 I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more

Tempting Auzed by Victoria Aveline is another outstanding addition to this over arching storyline of human females who have escaped from an alien insurgent facility into the surrounding and deadly alien forest。Alejandra and Lily （Lily’s story was told in the previous book） join forces in an attempt to find their way out of the forest with the hope of locating some kind of sanctuary。 They become separated with Alejandra suffering a concussion in the process。Auzed， one of the warriors who has been Tempting Auzed by Victoria Aveline is another outstanding addition to this over arching storyline of human females who have escaped from an alien insurgent facility into the surrounding and deadly alien forest。Alejandra and Lily （Lily’s story was told in the previous book） join forces in an attempt to find their way out of the forest with the hope of locating some kind of sanctuary。 They become separated with Alejandra suffering a concussion in the process。Auzed， one of the warriors who has been tasked by their queen to find the missing females comes across Alejandra which is when the story really takes off and delivers an enormously pulled together narrative with expertly crafted likable characters， action， adventure and the angst between the two leads which they have to traverse before realizing that ultimately they only ever needed each other。A wonderful story unfolds that is highly recommended。 HEA I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more

I enjoyed this one a lot。 World building is an enthusiasm of mine， and this Auzed and Alejandra's story is in a setting rife with it。 I loved the forest setting and the city there！ Auzed's rigid， duty first mentality is challenged when impulsive Alejandra lands in his arms。 VERY challenged。 He's determined to hang onto his life long goals， not ready to admit he's taking second best in his own wishes。 Alejandra lands them in a cover story with shaky grounds and dangerous repercussions， or dreams I enjoyed this one a lot。 World building is an enthusiasm of mine， and this Auzed and Alejandra's story is in a setting rife with it。 I loved the forest setting and the city there！ Auzed's rigid， duty first mentality is challenged when impulsive Alejandra lands in his arms。 VERY challenged。 He's determined to hang onto his life long goals， not ready to admit he's taking second best in his own wishes。 Alejandra lands them in a cover story with shaky grounds and dangerous repercussions， or dreams come true if they can make it through their own trials。 There's development on the overall arc of "what to do with the humans" as well， but I don't want to spoil it for anyone， so sssshhh！ This is another ace， and I can't wait for the next installment！ 。。。more

I am honestly obsessed with this series！！ I swear， each book just keeps getting better and better。 The book definitely had a bit of the enemy to lovers as well as fake relationship， which I just found hilarious all the way through。 The chemistry between Alejandra and Auzed really made me laugh， with them both giving off as much sass as they could。 I also loved the sweet moments between them both， and the realisation that they may bicker between each other， but weren't too fond when other's stuck I am honestly obsessed with this series！！ I swear， each book just keeps getting better and better。 The book definitely had a bit of the enemy to lovers as well as fake relationship， which I just found hilarious all the way through。 The chemistry between Alejandra and Auzed really made me laugh， with them both giving off as much sass as they could。 I also loved the sweet moments between them both， and the realisation that they may bicker between each other， but weren't too fond when other's stuck their ore in。 Then they'd become a united team， even if poor Auzed had no idea what Alejandra was going to do next！Each of these stories is so unique， and really delve me into the unusual world。 I love how each character is so so different， each having their own characteristics and soul。 With what was already teased in this book， I'm so so soooo excited to see how it plays out。 These women are badass， and mostly hilarious with the schemes they come up with :'） Keep up the amazing work！*ARC Provided for honest feedback* 。。。more

Tempting Auzed focuses on two characters introduced in previous books in the series – Alex and Auzed。 Alex was separated from Lily in the last book， and Auzed is Theo’s straight-laced and serious brother。 When Auzed rescues Alex while in Sauvenian territory， Alex lies and says that they are engaged in order to avoid their mating customs。 This impulsive declaration leads to many complications as well as the beginning of a possible love affair between Auzed and Alex。 Can the pair resist their feel Tempting Auzed focuses on two characters introduced in previous books in the series – Alex and Auzed。 Alex was separated from Lily in the last book， and Auzed is Theo’s straight-laced and serious brother。 When Auzed rescues Alex while in Sauvenian territory， Alex lies and says that they are engaged in order to avoid their mating customs。 This impulsive declaration leads to many complications as well as the beginning of a possible love affair between Auzed and Alex。 Can the pair resist their feelings？ Will they stay together even if they aren’t fated mates？I love Alex！ She is spunky and funny， and she makes the best movie references。 She’s impulsive and quite funny， and I love how outgoing and demonstrative she is。 Auzed is a solid， structured， serious， and responsible soldier。 He is so used to being in control， and his life has spiraled into chaos since he first met Alex。 Fierce and stern and responsible， he is shaken by the turbulent feelings Alex arouses。 He and Alex are well-layered protagonists that each deal with internal conflicts。 I found this part of the story really interesting。 Alex has people on Earth that she loves and misses， and throughout the story she talks about her grief and the pain she feels at never seeing them again。 She is very torn between wanting to return home and wanting to stay in this new world with a male who feels more like her home than Earth。Auzed brings to light some aspects of his world that are interesting as well。 Most people on the planet resign themselves to the fact that they will never find a mate。 However， Clecanians who choose to remain monogamous to one partner are scorned。 This is something that Auzed must think about as he considers his deep feelings for Alex。 What would happen if， for example， they committed to each other and then Alex found her mate？ Can they both deal with the scorn and rejection that comes with staying with one person？ These unique social issues are explored throughout the story and offer an interesting perspective into the lives of the Clecanians。Now， I love a swoon-worthy love story， and the romance between Alex and Auzed is sizzling！ They are opposites in many ways， but they are also very similar， and they are so attracted to each other。 I love how their relationship grows and develops throughout the story and how their fake engagement turns into something more。 Their chemistry is off the charts – like sit in front of a fan when you read this off the charts！ On top of that， their banter is fantastic。 I love how Alex teases Auzed and gets him to let his guard down。I know I’ve said this in my reviews of the previous books in the series， but the world-building is so strong that it’s worth repeating。 Aveline creates such vivid and immersive worlds， which only continue to expand as the series progresses。 This story takes place in Sauven， a different area of the planet than the other books， and it is fascinating。 The author has created new worlds， cultures， social events and conflicts， unique clothing， animals， and modes of transportation。 Clecania is so thoughtfully， accessibly， and vividly presented， and the imagery is excellent。I’m loving this series， and I think this one is my favorite book yet。 The characters are compelling， the world-building is unique and immersive， and the romance is amazing！ I highly recommend the book （and the entire series） to readers who enjoy steamy sci-fi romance and am so thankful to Victoria Aveline for providing me with a copy of the book in exchange for my honest review。 。。。more

Thank you Victoria Aveline for allowing me to read Tempting Azued。 It was a rollercoaster of fun。 I enjoyed Alexandja and Azued’s story。 I think of the whole series，this is my favorite。 Tempting Azued had everything a reader could want， romance， danger， humor， pets， hotscenes， old friends。 I can’t say too much more without Tempting Azued be spoiled。 I promise you won’t be disappointed。 I loved 🥰 this book。 Even though this is a ARC review， I had already preordered this book。 Look for it ！

I’m really enjoying the world this author has built and the characters that live there！ The male lead， Auzed， has shown up as a secondary character in other books， presenting as an uptight， proper， strait laced male。 The female lead， Alejandra， was shown briefly in the second and third stories as a secondary character， appearing lost and somewhat fragile but this story shows her as a strong and engaging personality， willing to be assertive and to act instinctively （and arguably impulsively） when I’m really enjoying the world this author has built and the characters that live there！ The male lead， Auzed， has shown up as a secondary character in other books， presenting as an uptight， proper， strait laced male。 The female lead， Alejandra， was shown briefly in the second and third stories as a secondary character， appearing lost and somewhat fragile but this story shows her as a strong and engaging personality， willing to be assertive and to act instinctively （and arguably impulsively） when she feels it’s appropriate。 The story is dual POV， well written， and has great character engagement and development and relationship development。 Again， the secondary characters played such an important role， really building depth into the story。 Still looking forward to the next one， which is always encouraging with an author’s writing。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 Victoria Aveline has done it again！ Her Clecanian series just keeps getting better。 Some spoilers ahead so beware。In this book we catch up with Alex who had gotten separated during the last book from Lily。 She is eventually rescued by Auzed， who we’ve met in previous books。 Things don’t start off easy for them， as they have to deal with the Sauvenians。 This give us a chance to see a new world in the series and possibly a option for future books in a new setting perhaps。 In order to make it back Victoria Aveline has done it again！ Her Clecanian series just keeps getting better。 Some spoilers ahead so beware。In this book we catch up with Alex who had gotten separated during the last book from Lily。 She is eventually rescued by Auzed， who we’ve met in previous books。 Things don’t start off easy for them， as they have to deal with the Sauvenians。 This give us a chance to see a new world in the series and possibly a option for future books in a new setting perhaps。 In order to make it back to Tremanta， Alex and Auzed have to craft a bit of a lie about their relationship status and must work together to convince everyone of their love。 Of course， this becomes a reality eventually with so much time spent together。 The steam factor for this book is off the charts and I think Ms。 Aveline is really starting to develop a stronger talent for this as each book progresses。 As evidence of this， the sun lounger scene。。。that’s all。 Just the sun lounger scene。 Sooo good。 Anyway， our two lovebirds get their happily ever after and we are left waiting impatiently for the next addition to this series。 Some strong hints were dropped at the end concerning who we may expect the next one to be about。 Let’s just say we may not have to wait much longer to see that charming space pilot to get his mate。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more

One thing I've noticed over the years is that books in romance series often seem repetitive。 The characters may vary but the stories tend to follow the same formula， even down to the type and number of intimate scenes。 That is definitely not the case with Victoria Aveline's Clecanian series。 Each of the books in the series so far has been entertaining and completely unique。 The newest book， Tempting Auzed， is set in Sauven， another region of the planet， where the inhabitants have tails and live One thing I've noticed over the years is that books in romance series often seem repetitive。 The characters may vary but the stories tend to follow the same formula， even down to the type and number of intimate scenes。 That is definitely not the case with Victoria Aveline's Clecanian series。 Each of the books in the series so far has been entertaining and completely unique。 The newest book， Tempting Auzed， is set in Sauven， another region of the planet， where the inhabitants have tails and live high off the ground。 The world building is phenomenal。 It was easy to picture the city and its inhabitants， and the wildlife mentioned was in turn both adorable （a "tuey" named Wilson Phillips that rolls instead of running） and terrifying （a creature called a "sefa" that can kill with sound waves）。 Auzed， the hero in the story， is the head guard at the temple where the human females are housed。 He's intelligent， handsome and methodical， and his demeanor often comes across as grumpy。 The heroine， Alex， is his opposite in nearly every way。 She's a cheerful movie reviewer who hasn't learned to look before she leaps， which causes trouble for the couple more than once。 Something I always look for in romance reviews is if there are any BDSM-type scenes since I hate those。 There are none in this book。 The hero is very sweet， and while there is attraction from the beginning， nothing happens until after they start getting to know each other。 After that， the story does get quite steamy so if you prefer "clean" romances， this one may not be for you。This book， like all of the others， was very well written。 I read an advance copy and only noticed a few typos that did not interfere with my enjoyment of the story。 If you haven't read the other books in the series， you could probably enjoy this one as a standalone， but I highly recommend reading them all in order。 They'll make more sense that way， and they're so good you definitely don't want to miss out。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 All opinions are my own。 。。。more
